Tunze isn't all that expensive when compared to what you pay for MJ1200+Sureflow+magnet mount....

You can find the bigger streams for cheap second hand.

              Randell,

goggle moded K-4 or dig around some reef forums. They flow!

I like the K-4 mods for big tanks. Mod last a long time and flow is really wide.

Nice upgrade Peter. I would keep all them PHs on one side just like you got.

Those PHs are big and it blending in nicely with the black overflow on that far side of the tank.

All flowing pointing in to direction means more flow.

Flow pointing at each other is just going to create a whirlwind effect in the middle.

true but it also sounds like something a guy that tried both would say.

plus I know peter don't want those BIG PHs on the other side. That would make the tank look retarded. It's in the middle of his living room dude. Non-hobbyist people look at it too.

Man you gotta let me stop by and check out those Emperors dude! Things look sick.

Theres another rock place on hwy 6 if you wanted to get some rocks.

Better yet, order rocks from EBAY, wayyy cheaper.

                          Yes....I did...

Most of the sellers offer free shipping on the rocks as well.

I was able to buy like 140lb of Petrified wood for like $100.

I got a 11lb one for .99 cents with $20 shipping. With gorgeous colors.

                          And TAX FREE!

But things change when you talking about 240 gallons or more of water volume you trying to push.

I agree in a bigger tank things change.

Peter the Panda, do it and report back your findings.
