na im keeping my geos, i love em....im talking about getting another tank and didnt know the preffered size and filtration etc etc
Get a wet/dry trickle filter at least holding 5g of bio balls, a pump. A decent size canister filter maybe a Eheim 2217. And at least a 75g, but the bigger the better.
hmmm well if i do this i think id get a 175 or so but id want to move my 90 upstairs and put the 175 where my 90 is....how do i move a tank with fish in it upstairs? lol obviously drain it but what do i do with the fish.

Put them in a bucket, hook a portable bubble maker up to it and do your thing....
its alright to have 100% new water in the tank after i get it upstairs?
Take some of the old water out of the tank before you drain it completely. Put fish into bucket with air pump. Move filters over to another tank while you move the tank upstairs. Once tank is upstairs, fill , and filters and fish, and you are done. 100% new water won't hurt as long as you have a well established filter. I have done this countless times, so I know it works.:emt_thumbs:
