Need Help Moving Tanks & Fish

Jesper, there is one (wow, word is slipping my mind!) Spigot? What's that word? Anyways, there's one place on the side of the house to attach a hose. Just one, though. Geoff's already made all necessary measurements and made sure he has the corect length of hoses to run from that spigot to every single tank.

I will be there, but will be behind Geoff with a whip, just in case someone gets the bright idea not to listen to him. He's the boss, you know! :)

I have made measurements that the waterhose will reach every tank.

I also have enough python hose from the Kitchen sink to reach everyone as well.

We will be ready waterwise, electrical wise,...

I need SNAIL FREE NO FN SNAIL buckets for transporting fishes.

Jesper you know I was not singling you or anyone out...all I am saying is if everyone goes to the Don'Key and gets all full on Mexican Food and Magarita's...who's going to be working then?

There is no drinking at Don'Keys its that simple.. its lunch.. nothing more. :) I just dont get to come over to your side of the world often and this is why I like going there.. its excellent food.

Here is what I am bringing with me.
15ft 1" spa hose to drain tanks with. It will put 150g of water out the window in a matter of 10 minutes.
16ft 1.5" spa hose (coiled up) with carbon for filling. 200gph fill rate.
50ft hose which goes from the carbon hose to the tank. I just need to have hose from the spigot to the carbon filter. The carbon filter sits outside the house so all spills that could occur would be outside the house and not inside your house so you have clean that.

I used to have furniture dollies, but mom took them back the other week because she needed them. :(

Things I will bring extra.
I will bring an extra large tub where fish can live while things are bring transported.
absolutely brand new (less than 1 month old) has never seen water where snails could have been involved.

I can bring 3 buckets which have been dried out for quite some time. They are salt buckets which ADG gave me to carry my cyps home in. Hopefully you or MB can get some huge bags which can go inside each of the buckets and this way if there has ever been snails involved with these buckets they still will not make it to the house.

I got all my stuff. I got you covered on tubs for the fish. I will def. be there for the move. BTW...Don'key is the *****. I got 4 of the heavy duty suction cups too.

Saturday's Plan...
0. Get both locations pythons attached, Dos Equis, water, & coke in the Refer. 8am-9am
1. Zoo Tour 9:45am till 11:30am
2. Don'Key's Mexican Resturant on Spencer Highway in Pasadena Noon till 1pm
3. My Apartment 1:15pm till whenever we get all my no snail tanks moved, and then possible the two 180's that have snails if time permits. My 300 gallon, both 150's, 115, and the smalls (29,20L,20L).

Sunday Plan
1. My apartment 2:30pm to move both 180's if they did not get moved on Saturday.

I REALLY want a PM or a post if you like, that you will be here tomorrow and what you are brining.

My biggest concerns are Dolly's for the 180 gallon tanks, extra coolers and buckets that HAVE NO SNAILS for fish transport, and anything else you feel is beneficial to bring.

Please include what you will be bringing.

Jim and I are going to try and make it your way to help after we move some of my fishes around. We may be late, I need to do some stuff with the family in the morning.

We both have carbon tanks, let me know if you need us to bring it. I run mine inline with my 3/4" hose and run it full blast.

Bringing water removal kit (emptying tanks using pythons SUCKS !!!! )
Bringing water filling kit.. filling tanks without carbon filtration SUCKS -- I need fish to spawn that night -- not months down the road :P

Bringing several buckets
Bringing a 45g tub which can be used to to hold fish in one location while everything else gets moved and I will be brining air bubblers so the fish will be okie while we do the move.

I hope all the couches etc are gone from the apartment correct Geoff ?

The couch (the only piece of furniture in the 2 rooms with fish tanks ) ) is at the new house.

No obstacles except walls.

I can bring 1 1/4 drain hose, 180g in 5 mins, carbon bottle, battery powered bubble makers, buckets, also have a python if we need it.

I dont think filling all these tanks with carbon hoses is gonna last very long...we got a lot of gallons to fill up and that will take WAY too long. just my 2cents
