  • Pictures of my Moops

This is about a week after I added the 15 juvies to the main colony of moops. The total is now 44 (13 WC and the rest F1/TR) moops in this 125.

My first pic of my first batch of fry back in June.

    Thanks for looking!
I'll put up pics of the Ilangi colony later this week, I plan on introducing the 21 juvies that have been QT'ing in with them.
I'm getting 20 F1 duboisi Kigoma this Wednesday, and will put up pix of them too, once they've been acclimated.
    All the Best,
    Jenney.

I have a group of these guys as well. They are the "coolest". You did a good job with the pics. You were actually able to catch the "torquoise blue" in the top fin. I havn't seen many photos that catch the color of that fin.

            Dave,
I like the blue in the fin too. And it is hard to capture, you're right. I got lucky.
Here's a pic that highlights the blue fin, but the whole fish isn't in the shot. That's why I left it off.

This colony is very outgoing and bang the thermometer into the glass when they're begging.
            I love this variant.
thanks for the nice words, guys,

                      nice scape!

I love the background of plants and the use of fake plants with the nice jumbo together rock scape!

:ym_chatterbox:Thai can be as pissy as he wants, I don't care. I remember his scathing arm chair reviews on Trophs.com.
Everyone has their own idea of what works in a tank.
I know the plants are bad, but I like them to monitor water flow.
As far as the garish blue background, I'd rather spend the money on another fish than replace it so "f^#K it".
The scape breaks up line of site and I have zero aggression in my tanks. They're spawning and thriving.
I also have heaters out to assult your asthetic sense of harmony and spray bars to give you ulcers and intake tubes to give you nightmares, Thai. I'll be sure to include all of those in the next pics.

I'm here to learn, network and have fun. He has valid points but I don't care it's working.
