Is there any way that you can separate the variants? You know, put them in different tanks? Or decide which variant you like the least and trade them for some more of the ones you like the most? Because every month from here on out you're gonna have to find someone to take the hybrids and then they will get out into the general public's hands.
Front can't take all the fry every time they hump....and you can't trust just anyone to take them. And you will eventually end up giving them to just anyone out of desparation and complacency.
Good luck

Man, I totally understand that I would have been highly upset if I found out I paid top dollar for my Fronts and they were some sort of hybrid, but some of you Tropheus guys are kinda jumping off the deep end IMO. You're acting like these fish are a virus and we should just end it all. I cant speak for everyone on the box, but i'd say 99% of the people on here are trustworthy, genuine people and they arent looking to screw you on fish deals. I guarantee you wouldnt be able to tell the difference anyway. I have Moliro and Chimba in my tank, and I cant tell the difference. If it ain't wild caught

moliro and chimpimbi are in your tank right now. I say cull the hybrid offspring...but thats just me. People pay a lot of money for quality WC fish and these fish could easily end up mixing in to one of those colonies if the right person didnt keep them. just like Jenney stated...if they are breeding now...they will continue pumping out fry every month.250gallon-Wild Angels, community

Whatever. Either way, We've already discussed what will probably happen to these fish and nothing bad will come of it. Like I said, I'd love to see some of you "experts" tell the difference between some of the Trophs. You guys act like these fish are on some pedistool. I guarantee if somebody was on here with "hybrid goldfish", nobody would say a word about it. Its actually kinda sad...If it ain't wild caught

These fish were suppose to be sold, but couldnt keep any more tanks at the house so they were all put together in one tank with my brother and did not expect them to breed. Im currently tring to sell them right now. At my house I got my rainbows in there and would not even dare to put any other trophs in there. Im also in the process in putting my Ikola fry that wre with my kazumaba fry in my 75 gallon also, to me a single colony looks alot better then variants. And also didnt want the two colonies to over dominate thier colors. And I would never kill these fry, they deserve a life or a second chance.500g ????

Its like this man... if you go and talk to a guy who has bought or seen every make and model of Camero, and ask him what year is this one? He'll say its a 68 model RS/SS only 500 ever made, and only the orange ones had this or that, and the only difference between that one and this is the block casting had this and made this horsepower etc.... Then go and ask someone else what year is that and they'll say 60's or 70's model if they even know that. They may even have no clue what it is...
It is possible for some experienced people to be able to tell. And if you have a good couple reference manuals its not all that hard really, but it takes having the right experience and the right tools.380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand
