  • Need Help moving a 215 and Tank re-arrangment TBD

I have acquired a 215g tank from Armthehomeless.
I need it moved as soon as possible.
Please tell me what you can do to assist me and when.
I dont have a truck and I dont have other means to move anything as large as this is.

This will be a MOVE only. We are taking it from Arm's home to mine and parking it in the Garage. My Roomate will need time to build the new stand I want for it (as I want it to match the remaining tanks in my home)

                        You don't want the stand???

It is 2 x 4 stand with a wraparound and trim... it is well built and if the outside doesn't fit your needs... you can easily change it.

Interesting that you put this in the Troph and Petro forum... Are you putting trophs in this tank?

I will take the stand with me (unless you want it) but it will most likely be rebuild so that it can sit / fit in the space I want to put it.

Interesting that you put this in the Troph and Petro forum... Are you putting trophs in this tank?
No it will not be holding any Trophs -- 100% of the live stock in the 110 (see signature) will be in the 215.

The fish listed in the 70+58 will be going into the 110. (all Pleco/syno's currently in the 58 stays)

It was listed here, because I figured I would get good response, and later on when it comes time for the move inside, I will need help with the Trophs too :) (because there are several tanks in the way where the 215 is going).

When the install day comes, it will be -
Break down 70g tank - put tank in garage to be transported to Friend of mine who is getting into the fish keeping business -- All the fish will be in 58 until they are ready to be moved again.
Setup 215 -- Get it running etc.. --
Break down internally by moving all live stock from the 110 to the 215 (this will be the fun part because the Xeno's and Cyps HATE being moved)
Then reset the 110 to be a troph tank.
Move 95% of the fish that are now in the 58 into the 110.
                            I am done.
I am thinking this will be a whole day project..

                            Keep smiling :)

We need to move the tank. Check the seals. From what I hear they might need to be resealed. We need to get it in the garage for now.
