I am on well water and decieded to measure the Ph out of the tap yesterday. The tap PH was about 7.8. Is this in the acceptable range for Troph's? I know in the wild, the PH is higher than this.

That is almost ideal right from the tap. The most important thing with ph is stability. It is better to hold at a consistent number than to be all over the board.120g - Tropheus Moorii Kambwimba
