personally when irecieved my ilangi colony i didnt qt them before adding them to the established colony of chimba.
it was a 125g tank i had 17' f1 3' chimba and added 29 f1 ilangi, i hit the tank for 5 days with metro and didnt loose anyone, they all got on really well, luckilly for me.

after reading this though, if i decide to keep trophs again, i will likely doas geoff and others have suggested and setup a 75g tank for them and hammer them with metro for 5 days, its not worth loosing all your establihed fish, cause we all know how much they cost:icon_hang:

lol, i am wanting to, but im making sure its what i really want.

i miss my gks everyday, and i do LOVE tropheus, they are mazing fishes, but i have a soft spot for geos unlike any other fish.

but now that i have 2x 75g tanks, i will likely give in to the dark side again,lol

just have to find a colony i really really want first.
im thinking hard about a brichardi variant, im in love with namansis.

if i do get trophs again, i want fry lagain, it was so awesome raising my little gks from the size of my pinky nail to little subadult fishes:)
its so rewarding when they start to color up for you and come into their own.

watching baby Trophs grow really is a nice thing
