    You wont be disappointed with the Musanga... they are by far my favorite fish. As for QTing them in a 55gallon... i dont think you will have any problems. I kept mine in a 3ft 65tall for about a month while moving. They seem to not mind the close quarters. Im actually considering moving them back to a smaller tank as i noticed more shaking and breeding behaviour in the 65 gallon than in the 6ft 125 gallon. Going to try a 4ft 90 gallon and see what happens.

      so glad you went with lupota, i have always wanted this variant, but never could find any:(

      trust me you will not be dissapointed, imo they give livua a run for their money.

        I actually had a couple wild Lupota back in the day..

        I think Sarah (longstocking) has a couple from the same group I got mine from all those years..ago.

                Honestly, IMHO I don't think there is anyone sp. red that a person can say is "redder" then the next. So much as to do with background color, rocks, sand, and mood of the fish.

                I just love rare. So that is the determining factor to me.

                WC Liuva, WC lupota, and WC kiku are some damn rare fishes.

                Morliro are not any redder than those stated above. I had a WC colony of them and Jim has some too. They can show a lot of red while displaying....but so does every other sp. red.
