So do the 2 led strips give you the light you are looking for? I remember you talking about putting 4 of them on there120g - Tropheus Moorii Kambwimba

Two of them is just fine. The trick is to use a bright substrate(aragonite) to give a good reflection back up. When I first had them they were on a tank with no substrate and the light is so direct that it went straight through the tank. With two it is a nice calm light with a LOT of shimmer.250gallon-Wild Angels, community

the LED lights are awesome. I know I'm eating my words from early when I talked so much crap about the LED's. I have one on my Frontosa tank and its AWESOME. Its crazy how diverse they are. On Randall's tank, they are bright as he11 but on my tank with the black substrate, they are soft and relaxing. They shimmer the same way on my tank as well. I gotta get a good camera over and take some more pics.If it ain't wild caught
You ain't doing it right
