thai..when they get to adult size...
do they mostly look like the big male in the pic with little or no bar or do they mostly look like the holding female?

Only the males get that solid color but even then they only show it when they are fighting or breeding. Most of the time they all have bars. I notice the females have yellower bars than the males.
