Get ready Britni here it comes. Go back and read the last 1,000 post on this forum and you will be a expert. Just kidding!I say consistency, water change, water turn over , clean your filters , right food, oxygen. Keep a good eye on them and they will become bullet proof. Make them happy and they will breed for you. If you get them to breed you know you are doing it right.

We have tons of experts on Tropheus in this forum.
My suggestions for people starting out with them is first..
1. Get a book or read about them as much as possible before you put any capital together to spend on them
2. Since you already decided to use a 125 gallon tank, which I believe is the perfect tank to start with for them, you will be able to house about 30 Adults in this tank with proper filtration
3. Proper Filtration - 10X turnover rate if using HOB's or Canisters, 4-5X turnover rate if using a wetdry.
4. Adequate Decoration - lots of rocks/boulders, smoother the safer for them
5. Start looking at pictures to pick your favorite variant
6. Decide if you want tank raised fish, wild fish, true F1, or pondraised, or even a mix of all 4 types
7. Start looking where to find them from either breeders or importers.
This should get you going.
So, please keep us informed of your progress, and let us know what you decide.

+1 on talking to Geoff and following his advice.
Wow what a cool video.
Semper has some "Lufubu's" listed for sale.
This to me is a beautiful fish. I considered picking them up for my 125 but I now have reserved some Moba Fronts.
I'll eventualy do a tank of these guys.
There is also several members that have Kachese and this is a nice fish as well.
