This video taken with iphone 3GS does not do these fish any justice, but still cool to watch. You can see the bottom of the first section as well at the bottom of the 4ft section.

Everything says dont put rocks in the bottom of the pond - well almost everything. So I built a ledge for both rocks and plants to sit.

Anyone know where to get a wetsuit?

I agree when it is 80º outside but I want to go in right now. Catching these guys for the cold weather will be an adventure. I figured just get in with a really large net and start scooping. At least I do already have the goggles and snorkel.

I'm sorry to inundate people with videos, but this has simply rejuvenated my enjoyment of these fish. Hopefully it is hot/warm this weekend so I can get in and take pictures. And I cant wait to put me petros in there with them.

Well, it's time to get the UV. After all the rain we had a few weeks ago, I have not seen my fish in a week. I got into the pond this morning just to make sure everyone was not dead (especially since a mpulungu jumped in the bog and died due to no filtration and possibly the water temp at the bog level).

Any recommendations for inexpensive online ordering?

After getting in today, I did find one skeleton. I think it is the single namansi reef that I started out with in the pond. When I last saw it, he was getting bullied by some of the mpulungu. I singled him out since he had developed bloat while we were away on vacation in July. He had been doing well in his own tank for about 1.5 months and he was the very first to go into the pond.

Litllies are doing great, bought some taro yesterday and still continuing the rockwork and making subtle changes.

                  My fish are piranha...

Due to the green water, I haven't been able to see the fish in the pond, and after getting in the pond to check for bodies and not seeing any - I was starting to get worried. Then I checked the skimmer yesterday and found the remains of a frog - ligaments still holding the bones together and very little skin. And finally this morning I catch a glimpse of about 20 fish or so swimming in the 2' end.

UV should be here tomorrow, and I cant wait to plug in 2-50W Clarifiers into my skimmer.

I cant wait to see how these guys are doing. I'm working on landscaping right now and getting the first bog filtration going. More pictures are coming soon!

Right now is end of quarter and end of the year for me so I'm too tired when I get home to do anything.

WOW. Between getting one bog running and the UV - you can see the entire 4 foot deep section. Plan to patch the second bog and get that up and running this coming weekend. I might have said this early but the petros tend to stay in the 3 to 4 foot section. They ay come up to the 2 foot part to feed, but you don't see them playing around there. I;ve been working on plants with the objective of getting more this weekend. I put together a video, but i may be too long...

It's not a great shot due to the lack of light. The fish love to under the shade of the lilies, so I will need to get that strobe pretty soon. I was using the krill to get them to hover around one area as much as possible.
