Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
How is the pond going Donald? I could be wrong but I have not noticed talk about the coloring of the fish. I have read that moving them outside in direct sunlight will cause the colors to brighten considerably, have you seen this with your fish?

Definitely noticed the colors getting brighter in the muplungu. I recently moved the namansi reef in there also, and my petro trews are in there too. With the added namansi reefs you see a lot more movement in the shallow end by the mupulungu. In is interesting they way the have divided up the pond. The petros are seldomly seen in the 2 foot end. You also see more mpulungu than namansi reef in the 2 foot end - even during feeding time.
I still need to complete the second bog - which I hope to do this coming weekend. I already plumbed it - I just need to install the grate and gravel, and get some plants.

Mpulungu went in Sept 5th and everyone (Trew, Mpulungu, and Namansi Reef) moved out today. I had to drain the entire pond - which took a lot longer than expected. First thing I noticed as that everyone looks awesome. The moops have awesome bright spots that POP now. In the smaller tank, only the dom. male TREW showed his spots much. Right now ALL of the Trews were showing their spots. All of the namansi reefs are looking well also. A few babies were found with one with a small yolk sac and it finally turned out to be the moops.
What I learned:
1. Get a pump that can dispel the water a lot faster than what I used.
I'll add more as I think about it...
