Petrochromis famula Sangala

Really interested in these fish. If anyone knows of an American importer that has them let me know.

I checked with the ones that I know and they don't have these fish. From what little I know, these fish was recently discovered some time last year.

Don't be mad ... But look what I got 2+ weeks ago from a guy in Maryland (Mike MADDOG10) Not Sangala but ...... 9 Adults (4 to 5+ inches) and 6 young ( 2 to 3 inches)....

Man, I just love big petros. These famulas are clean for sure but small.

They get fat and mean looking. I really want to fight a moba front vs. my blue giant.

Same here. No space for them in my tanks. Just got rid of my other famula to make more room for my longola, but those sangalas are pretty sweet looking

I don't know. The petro world can be miss leading.

What is really "rare"?

I think it's more of a demand issue then a collection issue.

If it don't come from the congo, it's most likely not rare.

If it does, hoard your fish!
