  • Fish sitting some red rainbow trophs

They are the meanest little basturds i've ever seen. 11 fish and another 2 culled out to save there life. They are in a 200gal right now. Question is do ya'll think if I pack them in a 75gal with no rocks it will stop the aggression? Till they get picked up. Even the 1" fry are killers. I picked out 9 dead just spit during a water change last night. These fish should be striped so they don't learn their parents killer behaviors. Any thoughts?

I had this same problem before. Your colony might be male heavy and you might want to add more to the colony, 25 and up is a good number.
    500g ????
    220g F1 Blue Giant Petrochromis

    180g WC Cyphotilapia Frontosa Moba.
    30g Fry tank

      Keep them with another colony.

Move them to another tank or add a second colony. I think they can fit very well with the Ujijis John.

I would put them with another colony or the 75gallon might work also...put lots of flow on them if they go in the 75gallon.

            I've tried both.

I thought the 75g helped a bit (even with mad flow and even added a petro) but not the long term solution.

The 5 tropheus I had lived but there was still non-stop bullying.

Just keep them with a colony of tropheus they will not "likely" breed with gives better chances.

Even then there is some bullying.
