haha i might have to try this. i kinda feed them alot, possibly making them hungry will make them want to come and see me.

with the light off for some reason, they seem to be moving around more and not as crazy. i will upload a video in the next few minutes for you guys to see and that might help.

I think its b/c you dont have enough of them in the tank. I've noticed that if I have a big colony, they always are more aggressive and swim at the top of the tank.

yeah i was trying to sell them. even before they wouldnt do much but swim on the bottom if anything. i kinda want my tropheus to like come at me and want to be fed. they js sit around and chill and come out once in awhile and then eat food slowly.. but now they hide for some reason as well. i dont know..

with the light off they swim around and stuff but they arent like everyone else's fish ive seen. they only once in awhile come out with the light on and they never come up to you for feeding or anything.

oh man checked this morning. i fed them only once yesterday and it seems they are more active today. with the light off, they dig in the sand looking for food and swim about. lol..i guess i WAS feeding too frequently and they got used to it. and i might have to leave the light on for awhile for them to get used to the light..because they still dont swim with it on.

Get a timer for your lights.

If they eating then they not sick.

I've seen (an kept) shy colonies before. Nothing wrong with it. Means they school tighter.
I ate my fish that died.
