    HTPC Tank Tour V - Looking for hosts

    It has been a while since the Houston Tropheus and Petrochromis Club has had any sort of function, I think we need to change that. I would like to put together a members tank tour. Tank tour IV featured members from the Northside of town. I would like to see if we can get some Houston Fishbox and/or HPTC members on the South side who are willing to host.

    For those who aren't familiar the tank tour is a simple and fun one day function. We usually have about 4-5 members host. We set up a route based on location and carpool from house to house viewing tropheus and petrochromis tanks. At the last stop of the day we usually barbecue and sit around and tell lies and enjoy adult beverages.

    It is the south sides turn to host however based on interest/availability we can can adjust the plan as needed. There is no date set as of yet. I would like to gauge interest and availability before we set a hard date.

      If no one on the South side wants to step up we can go elsewhere. We need hosts people. Houston is one of the few areas where you have enough troph & petro keepers to do something like this. Lets step up and prove that Htown is still THE Tropheus Mecca!

          Lets call it either Saturday November 26th or Saturday December 3rd. That should give us enough time to get things lined out

            Well Sunny is the first south sider to step up and open his home to the boxers. Lets see if we can get some more of yall to step up and show off your collections.

                Being new to Tropheus I wouldn't mind showing mine off if you'd like to stop by. Regretably, i'm not sure if the time has passed on this....

                  Barrett it doesn't there just wasn't enough interest to put together a tour. Its a little disappointing, this section used to be the most active on the box. We had folks from all over the US, Canada and Europe who would contribute to it. Unfortunately the core group and most of the club members just arent active anymore. I would like to thank Sunny for volunteering to host, I genuinely appreciate you offering to allow boxers into your home. Perhaps someday in the future there will be enough interest to put one together.
