Quoc I am the admin for permissions for the group. There is not a president that I am aware of as the club even at its height had no elections. Geoff asked me to help run the club as he was drifting away from the box. I was able to organize one successful tank tour and unfortunately not much else. I had attempted another one but there was not enough interest or members willing to host.

As well people just stopped posting in the sub forum. I once asked Thai why he no longer posted in the forum and he said he wouldn't post there if Geoff wasn't around. If you look at the membership of the club it is the older generation of the box and most have moved on or are no longer active. I wish it were otherwise but its not. I as much as anyone would like to see the club be as prominent as it was.

After a while it was like beating your head against a brick wall. I saw no reason to continue pushing something that there was no interest in.

If Sunny believes he can revive it he has my full support. I genuinely hope you can revive interest.

I guess if you were in fact the one holding the torch then, good attempt but still a failed attempt but like they say, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink". Or can you?

Yes, I lurk. Geoff still has all his trophs. He's just busy with other stuff right now, as Thai said. Hopefully someday I can persuade him to come back. But for now, I agree with almost all that's been said.

I totally agree that H-town is a troph/Petro Mecca and we need to continue to be the envy of all the world! That being said, come on, guys. You can do it without Geoff, right?!?

(If not, I will try begging and pleading again. Lol. Or I can act as his go-between and pose all questions to him orally and espond in posts. Heh. )

We learned everything we know about Troph's from Geoff and it is greatly appreciated. I say begging and pleading again would be great to have him back in some form in the club.

these new goldfish are coming out more expensive and more sought after than trophs.

I found a few listings for trophs and petros on craigslist, you can't even find a decent shipper/importer for fancy goldfish.
