          Petmeister.com

PawCounter offers premium pet toys and supplies, fast shipping and a great customer service. Shop premium pet toys and supplies for your paw companions.

The fixture comes from Catalina Aquariums.

But he beat their list price by $5, he probably gets a discount but hey..it's capitalism and the guy at Petmeister has really good customer service.

I ended up having to get 10K white and 20K Actinic Blue because they do not make a 60" T5 Actinic White.  That bulb is only availible in the 48" and smaller fixtures for T5.

Very cool! I just spent about half an hour browsing those sites. Good stuff! Catalina seems to be having a great sale on power compacts, too.

Re: Lighting for 60" x 18" with Tropheus Annectens

oh yeah, I liked all their stuff.

I just decied on the T5's because

              1.  Its just (2) bulbs with almost no heat generation
              2.  T5 is more effecient than powercomapct lighting and other flourescents, meaning you get more lumens out of the watts you spend to power it.
              3.  The power compact fixtures were all the same for 48" as they were for the 60" except better spaced apart or only like 3-36W bulbs.

So I got this one. I just wish they made 60" Actinic White.

You will LOVE Giesemann bulbs, I'm sure. I have heard nothing but great reviews for them.

You'd better post some pictures when the lights arrive! Hopefully they're going to work out for your tropheus, color-wise.  :)

I will be changing the lighting on my 135g for some trophs so I will be going through the whole light finding ordeal as well.
