For the people who are undecided on what Tropheus to get here are my suggestions of what I think is the best fish on the list and any Trophues from Zambia that may be of special interest.

1.  Tropheus moorii Kalambo
Nice looking fish with yellow sunspot, eyes that are red and yellow occulates, blue dorsal, greenish body. Also sometimes can produce OB morph.

2.  Tropheus moorii Mpulungu*Kasakalawe
beautiful fish with yellow/orange sunpsot, blue and red dorsal, white speckeld head, greenish body

3.  Tropheus moorii Mbita Sunspot
nice fish with blue dorsal, solid yellow sunspot with clear definition, yellow eye occulate, greenish body

4.  Tropheus moorii Golden Kazumba or "Yellow Kachese"
Gorgeous yellow and golden orange body bands, with brown like stripes on the head, bright red dorsal

4.  Tropheus sp.red Chilanga Red
Reddish orange and yellow colored body, with dark red dorsals and fins, dark red/plumb head

5.  Tropheus moorii Nangu
Really unique fish that has white sunspot, black head and caudal fin, lime green upper body.

If this is ordered on Dec. 3rd.  How long for delivery and how long for acclimation?  Basically I'm asking for the actual pickup date?  

I assume arround 5 days for delivery and two weeks for acclimating them?

A week to 10 days for arrival from Africa, then 2 weeks acclimation.

I would say a at best pickup would be December 29th from Mike's in College Station, or the first weekend after New Years

If we get special ordered fish, I would suspect that it would put some delay in this orders arrival time, that is why that deadline is Friday 5pm.

on the frontosa, does anyone have an idea of size when they say M, L or XL size.

What I ment was the size of the actual fish in inches in relation to the Med/Large, Large,and XL.

Based upon the size of the box with the quanity they posted, I really hate to guess on this, but

Med/Large would most likely be 5-6"

Large 6-8"

XL 8" or more

I will PM mike and see if he can get actualy inches estimates.

Just a heads up to everyone.

With the PM's I got last night, I returned those with some questions, and depending on those answers, it appears that I will be having to cut off any more box orders because we will be over 15 boxes.

In fact, I may have to cut some boxes depending on the order size.

So, at this time, the boxes I have listed so far will be what everyone has to order from, unless the people themselves agree to change the box.

I will also be cutting off any chance for changing the order on Monday November 26th.  All payment must be sent to Mike by cash, credit card, paypall, check, or money order NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 1st.

The order will be placed December 3rd.

The order will take 7-14 days to arrive in the US.  I will get with Mike, but it looks like you will be able to pick up all your fish on the weekend after New YEars Like Saturday January 5th as the earliest possible, depending on the actual delivery.

As soon as I get confirmations from the people I PM'd today, I will post an updated list and by the End of the Thanksgiving Holiday, you must confirm 100% the order, and then pay Mike by December 1st.

FYI, I am almost 100% positive  i will be changing my box to frontosa.  I know that does not change the number of boxes, but just in case someone was planning to goin on the box of trophs i was think about getting.  Sorry for all the back and forth. I get fickle sometimes.

Just a reminder and heads up.

In the begining I posted that Tropheus and Petrochromis Club members would have priority if it came to cutting orders.  This also will be extended to orders made by people who are ordering Tropheus and Petrochromis.

I am in no way saying that automatically all Non-Petro and Tropheus orders will be automatically cut.  I am only saying that if it comes to a cut, 1 of 2 things may happen.

1.  The boxes of non Tropheus and Petrochromis with the least number of people in that order, will be on the cutting block first. Before I would cut anyone's single order, I would ask those that are ordering more than one first.

2.  It may end up that non-Tropheus and Petrochromis customers, may end up having to perform their own acclimating to make room. Mike has said no boxes over 18 will be allowed.  We are at 18 and one is on the cutting block.

Like I said, I need to get some confirmations from the people I sent PM's too before this kind of stuff happens.

We are not looking to cut people at this time.  Only possible box orders.

Understand, that if you drop out, unless Donald takes 1/2 the syno box or finds partners that box will be dropped.

I would not suggest volunter dropping until a later time.

Boxing and Bagging Fee : $6.00 per Box, $1 per bag

Order Deadline : Monday November 26th by 10pm

Special Order Deadline for any Zambian captured fish not on the current list : November 16th this Friday by 5pm

Payment Deadline : December 1st pay Mike (bethesdaboy) with Cash, Check, Money Order, Pay-Pal, or Credit Card.  Earlier you can make this payment the better.  The order will be placed when 100% paid in full.  If you do not pay or make arrangements with Mike you will be automatically dropped from the order, and next in line gets a shot.
