    Chopping Block Boxes: None

Customs Fee : $250 split evenly by all members.  $200 is actual customs for the importation of the goods from Africa and is based upon a percentage of the declared value.  The additional $50 is the cost of one tank of gas for Mike's travel to IAH for pickup and return to College Station.  Currently we have (16) People = $15.62 per person ~ $16 each

Shipping Cost : $225 per box spilt by all persons ordering that box equally no matter order size. As long as 12 fish remain in the box (aprox.20%), Mike will go in as a equal partner on the shipping.  (1/2 of the Box) must be sold to others for it to be imported by Mike. $200 of this cost is the cost by the airlines for the actual shipment of the box on Delta Airlines coming direct from Johannesburg, South Africa to Houston, Texas (IAH). $25 is the charge that Michelle of African Cichlids Aquaculture charges for box and bagging, and ground transport to Johannesburg, South Africa from Lake Tanganikya (Nsumbu), Zambia

Boxing and Bagging Fee : $6.00 per Box, $1 per bag.  This will depend on order size, typical fish bag will be a large bag that can safely transport 15-20 4" sized fish. A box can keep about 3-4 large bags.  If you bring your own box and bags, this is not a problem.  Charles has offered boxes to people who wish to come and get them.  Please PM Charles "marauder_77868" for contact information.

Replacement or Additional Fish : Fish to replace DOA's will be sold at cost per fish to import. Group-buy members can also purchase additional fish at this same cost. This is defined as, the purchase price from the list based upon order size and the shipping price of the box divided by the number of fish that came in that box. Additional fish cannot be purchased until all DOA’s and acclimation looses have been given the chance for replacement by the original buyers who imported the box of fish.

Order Deadline : Monday November 26th by 11pm

    Special Order Deadline has passed.

Payment Deadline : December 1st pay Mike (bethesdaboy) with Cash, Check, Money Order, Pay-Pal, or Credit Card.  Earlier you can make this payment the better.  The order will be placed when 100% paid in full.  If you do not pay or make arrangements with Mike you will be automatically dropped from the order, and next in line gets a shot.

Sales Tax : 8.25% will be applied to all Texas Residents for sale of merchandise.  All tangible items such as fish list price, and items required for bagging and boxing will be taxed. The Customs fee and Shipping cost from Africa cannot be taxed for these are not actual merchandise.

          Your bill: Example Geoff Tropheus

          Customs : $16.00

Shipping : Petrochromis Trewavasae Box (split 4 ways) = $56.25
Ectodus Descampsii Box (split 5 ways) = $45.00

          Fish Price : 14-Trewavsae at $1.00 ea.**, 12-Ectodus Descampsii at $1.00 ea.** = $26.00 for 26 fish.
**This price is not actual.  The actual price is on the fishlist for the 10 box and 15 box price.  I am only using the $1.00 as an example for calculation.

          Bagging Fee: 1-Box at $6.00, (3) Large Bags at $1.00ea. = $9.00

Sales Tax : 8.25% of $26 for the fish, plus $9.00 in bagging charges = $2.88

          Total Cost : $16.00 + $56.25 + $45.00 +$26.00 + $9.00 + $2.88 = $155.14

          My Bill : $155.14

Ok..let's make it a little more real and say my fish are $10 each***Which is still not correct pricing but it is close..

My Sales Tax is: $260 for the fish + $9.00 in bagging charges all multiplied by 8.25%

            This is 269*.0825 = $22.19 Sales Tax.

That would be a No.    LOL.

I will have my day at the beginning of next year.  Ideally that is prolly the best time to place an order like this.

If we could do this in the 1st or 2nd quarter of the year I would be alot more interested in this.  Should be moved by then and would be making alot more money too.

Well, I just talked to Raul who passed on a message to me that Juan has also dropped out of the Kachese order.  Because so many people have dropped out and our price per fish seems to be climbing more and more, I just can't take the load of this box alone.  Not to mention housing an additional 36 fish.

I hate having to do it, but I'm dropping my box of Kachese.

I would buy into the Kachese with you, but I can't be sure I could house them along with the nkonde & Ujiji's I have now.
I may not be able to make the diving trip to Africa, but I will not back out on my box of nkonde yellows.
