    Re: CF's Ujiji's

After all the years of keeping Tropheus, and seeing how really successful the Ujiji have been for me compared to all other setups of mine and other people's.

I am 100% certain that the very best setup for Tropheus is a 125 gallon with 25-30 Adults of a sinlge colony, with 7-10X filtration turnover, and weekly 30% or bi-weekly 50% waterchanges.  This setup will optimize them for color, size, and breeding.

Steve you keep this kind of regime, and they will be some really happy and very successful fish for you.

    Take care,

              Re: CF's Ujiji's

Everybody's fine I'm happy to report. I even caught the one with the deformed back (Loretta named him JOLLY) in mock mating practice with other fishes. I wish I could be more consistent with these guys like I am the Chimba's at work, but they seem to be doing pretty good. I have about 9 Dubosis in the 125 with them, and they seem to all get along fine. They seem to be a heck of a lot more active than the chimba's, but maybe that's because they are still younger's ???

              thanks for asking....

              Steve

BTW......i have more new fry at work too....now I have maybe a dozen fry in there.....

                Geoff,
If you double your estimate then I completely agree with your Aggie math.
