I just soaked them in bleach for about two days after I pressured washed them. How many Tecate's did you have that day?

Not Enough.  Spent too much time having to dig rocks and looking.

You had the cooler and should have been promoting that.  Lets take a break.

      Where's the beer?

Its in the back of my truck.

      Where's the truck?

Wow that looks as if it was a great trip.    I'm definitely jealous that all I got to do Saturday was drive that "KID" to work and back.     Graet pics!!

Geoff - You'd better give her a few rocks or she might whack you with that pity cane..

Texas Holey Rock (where the majority of this kind of rock can be found naturally)  or Limestone Honeycomb Rock (the more scientific name for it)

Geoff has said something about doing another Rock Hunt sometime in the near future.... I would suggest if you want some of this rock, come with us.  Now I know its a drive for you but it could turn out to be a very rewarding trip for you.

I am a glutton for punishment.  Whack-away!! :badsmiley:

Loretta, you will be our walking cooler, and I promise to dig all the rocks you want.

Now get that leg healed up and come along, you'll have A LOT of walking to do.

Juan, really man those were some really nice rocks.  I cannot wait to see some pics from JEsper, Spot, and Rick once they get theirs cleaned up.

I have been very negligent in my cleaning..

Any scorpions found in the rocks?? I brought some home once and (after being in my car a couple of days!) when cleaning,  a scorpion ran out. Another guy came home, dumped his rocks in a gigantic vat of bleach and the next morning woke up to his wife screaming at him. The vat had about a 100 scorpions floating on the top. Since he'd taken his small son w/ him to help find and carry the rocks, his wife was really PO'd.
Also, what percentage bleach/water did ya'll use?
                            Thanks for the great pics!

I used a gallon of bleach in a 30 gallon tote, then filled it with water.

The rocks probably took up half the water volume, so it was probably more like 1part bleach:15 parts water.
