I found one dead in the tank yesterday when I got home from work. Half of the nkonde's will not eat, if I catch them and put them in a sick tank, with clout meds, they usually die within hours. I gave up treating them. Every fish I put into the sick tank has died. I have become a bit lathargic about trying to save them at this time, my own personal problems just seem to be amplified by the troubles I am having at home with my fish.

I'm really quite upset by our current political circus that has taken over the major media as well, 2008 is not off to a good start for me, not only do I feel my own personal career and family situation is evaporating, but I feel the country in general is in the same boat ...it's very turbulent out there and there's no real prescription being presented to us, myself, my fish, my country, yes, even you, my fellow boxers are going to feel the wave here shortly I fear....

But hey, that's just me...and my little storm cloud, don't let me rain on your parade.... :)

I say treat the whole tank though since it sounds like you are far into the problem.

Again, I sincerely appreciate all the warm and genuine acts of compassion for assistance and or concern, but I am able to accept my lot and the concequence's of my actions without regret. I love my fish, and I respect them as well, but I will not go overboard (in my opinion) when it comes to taking steps to save these guys. I accept my short comeings with my experience level in fish keeping, I acknowledge their needs and try to comply with them all, but that's about as far as it goes for me.

EK, you offer is kind and I sincerely appreciate it, but I really would rather not have other folks involved more than they are right now.

Ek I have 6 ephippiums (5 females from old world) and one from Mike. I want to get the other two Mike have by March 1.
