The yellow nkonde's have not done well for me, I've lost 8 of them in the past 2 weeks. The kachese are doing much better, I have not lost any of them.
Some of the yellow's would not eat from the first day I got them home, then the problems I had with my new 210 and keeping it at a consistant temp may have led to other problems for them.
The kachese are in the same tank I kept the Red Chimba's at work, and they too seem to thrive in the "black tank" as I call it, it has black substrate and the back is painted black.
On a seperate note, I lost all but one of my Ujiji's that I bought from Geoff back in September. I don't believe it was bloat, but I'm not sure. The entire colony went quickly.
Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
Lost 1 moop, but he got his arse kicked by the largest male in the tank. Otherwise - everyone else is doing great.
All petros are doing well in the 3 tanks they are in.
and - just for you EK - there is at least 1 female murago holding right now.

I added some more holey rock to the tank yesterday in the hopes of having some of my kachese fry survive. I have decided to let them release naturally. I will post some pics if I have have success.
delock, great to hear! Those ephippium where awesome looking when I saw them at Mike's!
J-WS6, pics is a must! You still have that lone male by himself?
DD, Great to hear about my future colony in the making! I might be starting up the tank I got for them soon....really excited about the muragos and the rockscape I have planned for it. How many adults total do you have...if I remember correctly you got two groups from separate sources.
al, how many kachese did you get? Holding already? You must be doing something right!

Yes, total of 42 - bought 43 and right before putting them in their new home (after several weeks in a q-tank), I had a loss.
