I've bred groups of 11

I bred a trio. Never got fry but they did breed. I also bred 8 canary cheek. I'm also starting to feel like ratios are over rated

Well I've bred pairs of fish easily. No aggression issues. Seems like people want trios. I have trios in two colonies and I don't see a difference in breeding.

Colonies are somehow more appropriate sounding? They are all just descriptors signifying quantities. Usually fish are referred to as a school, like crows and ravens are murders.

15 is pushing it. Done 15 plenty of times. Lose a few fish and "it" breaks loose.

Ideal group is 25 for me. I do not want more than that in my colonies.

Colony is more appropriate give the social structure and interactions they display.

I can see your point, but I think its just a descriptor that stuck. Legion has WAY more structure and sounds cooler. Especially all those blood thirsty mutinies that seem to crop up. I say you grab it for petros Sunny!!!!
