Petrochromis has a very large variety to pick from depending on what you like. Some stay smaller in the 5-8" range, while others can get to monster size of 20".
The trick is balancing the agression. It is always best to have as few of males as possible. Depending on which variants, this could mean you will end up with only one in tank.
The famula types are more "Tropheus" like while most the others are much more independant.
What size right now are your Duboisi?
In my experience, a 125 with 10X filtration turnover if using canisters and HOB's, or 5X if using a wetdry, can handle 40 fish to full 5" size or more. You start packing in more than 40, and they will not reach this size.
I typically count 1-Petro as 2-Tropheus becuase of their size, waste production, and agression.
With that said, I would say you could get a 1M/4F group of the smaller types of Petros or 1-Jumbo Male or Female of any variant you liked.
