For the Pond Clout, call around to some of the pond stores in Houston.  They usually have it.  Should be about $20.  I get mine at Dr Fosters's for about $15.  I'm expecting some by next week.

I've always read/heard that salt baths just increase the stress levels and sometimes make it worse. Everytime I've had issues with clout I instantly do a water change, then follow up with the dosage of clout. Clout for 2 more days then a water change. If they still aren't all eating then I wait a day, try to feed again, and if they still don't, then repeat the same pattern over the next 3 days.

I don't know if this helps, but I'll post my schedule:

AGA 150 driven by 2 Aquaclear 500s
Water change every 5 days (+ Aquarium/Epsom Salt)
Aquarian Flakes once a day (Around 7pm)
Photoperiod: 11am - 11pm (10k's), 11pm - 1am (Moonlights)
Temperature: 82F (constant)

Hey Geoff there is a Koi store off Champions or something like that up north....not far from my In-laws house, maybe try and call them?

I'm sure Mike meant Epsom which is the magnesium and will soothe the bloating/congestion/backed up intestine.

I have used epson salt before, but never as a salt bath.

When I hear most people talk about salt baths, they are usually talking marine salt.  I just wanted to make sure that was clear.

The tank habitants right now are:

15 - Petrochromis Trewavasae
9 - Tropheus Lunangwa
10 - Ectodus Descampsii formally 12

I never moved the fish around because I wanted to get the Petros established before moving a bunch of fish around.

I put the Lunangwa in there hoping to get the Petros more out-going and eating more agressively.

It worked at first, now..here I am in this problem...

The Petros and Ectodus were in tank January 5th.  The lunangwa were added that next weekend January 12th.

Using the wrong salt can be a killer to fish if you don't know what you are doing.

Epsom salt is used for bloat and dropsy, not the others.

I got (2) 100 count bottles of Clout so I am in no real "need" but for a tank this size that is what I need in the long run.

Instead of a bath, you should be fine with just adding the epsom/aquarium salt as your filling the tank up. That's what I do
