I wanted to propose our next meeting date as Saturday July 1st. *For Location, John Jolley has offered his home as the meeting place.

Cudos to John..

Let me know if you have any objection to the date at this time I think we might could schedule another date.

Our plan is to have bar-b-que, snacks, and beverages, and....lots of Tropheus and Petro discussions.

If I get enough feedback, we may move the meeting.  We would really like to try for a date that everyone can attend.

Other possible dates for this summer's meeting include the following:

Any Sunday in July.  We would really prefer Saturday, but I am working with John on a Sunday time.

I will let everyone know by Wednesday.

Due to feedback and the long holiday weekend, plans have changed for this weekend's meeting.

Our meeting date is now going to be changed to sometime in early August.

Please get in touch with me on availible dates you have.

Just to give a heads up, for those interested we might be organizing a rock dig for limestone in Burnet Texas on Saturday Aug 5th.

Right now the plan is meet at Aquarium World at 7am and be there around noon in Burnet.

Then dig, gather, smash limestone rocks and slate to pile up in a truck or two or maybee three.  Then leave Burnet at around 5pm or so, and be back in Houston by 10pm

For those interested this is now an official trip we are making this Saturday August 5th.

Leaving Aquarium World at 7AM
Arriving in Burnet Texas about Noon
Going to my Aunt's Sisters Land to dig/smash/gather Limestone Rocks from Noon to 4:30PM
Leave Burnet at 4:30PM Arriving in Houston at Aqarium World to drop off any carpoolers at 9:30PM

The cost is two casses of Coke for my Aunt's Sister from all of us, share some gas money if you carpool, and bring lots of water. We need to coordinate ice chests.

Small cost for all the limestone rock you want to gather.

I have a regular cab truck and can take one person.

I just wanted to clarify that my Aunt's Sister is getting (2) cases of Coca-Cola Classic.  Not (2) from each person that goes.  We just need to make sure she gets (2) cases.

i would like to meet up with ya'll i am from ft hood but will drive down there just to help out and hang out. can bring anything tools, picks, shovels, you name it just let me know

The club has been in hiatus for sometime now. Many of the original members are no longer in contact with me, because I have lost their emails, phone numbers, and if they are trying to contact me, they would be contacting a computer that is many many miles from me.  Some are even out of keeping Tropheus anymore, but still stay in touch.

Several people in this forum, have asked me about this club and its status.

I would like to take the time to openly invite anyone, that would be interested starting the club once more.

Please PM me with your email address, and I will start pinning down a meeting place and time.
