Re: A Moshi needs a new home

This thing went long time ago.....you don't want this bad boy with your Ulwiles.....your tank will look like this...

    26 Ulwiles, 1 Moshi, 1 eretmodus.

    next day.

    1 Moshi.

I remember seeing him at Ultimate, if you think I'm exaggerating ask Luis....the thing was in tank by itself next to a Longola.....both were trying to tear through glass!

Re: A Moshi needs a new home

That's what I thought as well. I understand that moshi can be very aggressive towards its own sp. and other petros, but I thought they would be find with trophs.  But what do I know....I'm just another noob.

That monster in your tank MJ........no go. You have some small fry in there and that male troph is an aggressive one since they are not your normal troph, they are brichardi's but hey.........what do I know.

Re: A Moshi needs a new home

Petrochromis will fight with anything same size as them.  They want to be top dog, numero uno all the time.

I've had a number of petros killed by Tropheus and Tropheus killed by Petros.

Always its the dominant fish duking it out.  IF you add that big Petro to your tank, you'll prbably be fine as long as he stays the biggest fish in the tank.

Then again, that guy in particular was a mean SOB.  For the first time in my life, I saw a Tropheus run the entire 6ft aquarium while I was at Mike's.  Usually one will run about 4ft maximum.

They are some crazies out there...but dont get me wrong, this fish is really nice.

Just be prepared that he might end up in his own place.
