Ok, so I took the plunge and ordered a controllable Tunze 6055 which puts out 264-1,453gph as well a the Tunze 6091 wave controller.

I NOW HAVE A WAVE POOL!  

The wave is not a killer wave like you would see in some reef tanks but I am getting about a 1/4-1/2 wave through the tank which is pretty cool! So now I have 4x Tunze nanostreams and a single 6055 nanostream for a crazy amount of flow as well as a wave going through it!

 I have a floating nursery in the tank with some fry that was spit by a female when I did my 100% water change and it's rocking back and forth through the waves like a boat.

It might be awhile before more fry are produced since I removed all the rocks in anticipation of more Ilangi's and for the upcoming move but I think once they settle back down from all that the tank is gonna be a sweat shop for fry!  :wink:

This actually makes a lot of sense.  You are trying to recreate the environment that they original came from.  Im almost 100% sure there was not an airplane dropping NLS into the lake but the flow does make a lot of sense.  I firmly believe that if you try your best to recreate their natural habitat, not only will they spawn more, but they will color up more as well.  Nice job EK.  Cant wait to see it!
