They are calling me back by Friday.  His current distributor did not carry it, so he looked up the other book that I purchased and will be trying to go through that distributor instead.

Regarding : Das große Buch der Tropheus-Cichliden by Frank Schneidewind - 1996

I need to know if your source can get this book by no later than the 17th this month.
I have someone who is traveling to Germany and is willing to see, if time permits, if he can find the book.  On or around the 17th I will visit him and give him money for the book so in case he runs across it he can pick it up and bring it back....
but in all honesty I would rather have it shipped to the US and then pick it up here in the US than going through the hassle of going through Germany.

My source is a place called BookPeople here in Austin.  Once they check the other distributor, I'll let you know; but the last time I ordered a German book there was a 4 to 6 weeks wait for it.  But I will find out for sure by Friday.

I promise I am going to stick to the plan.
With the hurricane right now coming in I am not able to get my Stepdad to order, but I hope that on Monday or Tuesday next week I will have the order in place for the two other books.  I will also tell you as soon as money is in hand with my contact.
All starting to come together like a master plan is supposed to :)

Well, we have hit a wall on this end...

BookPeople talked to their distributor that can usually get anything in print.  According to that distributor, this one is not possible to get and they believe it is out of print.  Bookpeople said that this distributor can usually get anything and being that they cannot find this particular book points to it being out of print and no longer available.

Next try, would be the guy going to Germany.....
