Here's a little story of how my T's made it through Gustav.
2 full days without power, no filter, no air, no water changes, tons of leaves fallen in the pond
I finally brought a generator back from Houston , then I plugged the pumps in for 2 hours, then turned them off to save gas. We then powered all the freezers and window ac units for the night.
This went on for about 4 days til we finally got power last Wednesday night.
Everything looks great, they couldn't be happier. Maybe this will prove that T's are hardier than most people think. I was one of them. No telling how many I have gone through in my time. As long as you provide enough space for them and provide sufficient food, they will thrive.
