    SLR Cameras

    Thinking about getting a Canon EOS 40D or a Canon EOS Rebel XSi. What do all of you camera men think about either one. Pros, Cons.

    I have a friend that is adamant about me getting the 28-135 IS lens with it. He says that is a great starter camera.

    I have a birthday comming up, and this would be a great present to myself..

    Canon EOS 40D all the way !!!
    I have seen the quality of the pictures the 40D puts out and it puts all of the other Canon's at lesser cost to shame.
    If I could afford one that is the route I would go :) :) :)

      there is the 50D now. The big thing this one has over the 40D is it has a HDMI connector on it for true HD. I am leaning towards the 40D though. I will have to decide by next week.

        Definitely the 40d over the xsi.

        I have a 30D and it's pretty awesome with some boo boo lenses.
