Average petro growth rate?

Just wonder if anyone knows the average growth rate of a WC petro.

I know it depends on water changes, how big the tank is, what type of petro......etc.

Setting all this aside, what is the "average" growth rate of a petro that you guys have experienced?

Almost double, more like a time and a half of troph's rate..... but I only kept the famula from fry.

Were you doing those massive water changes and power feeding back then? I can't remember.

Not really....doing about 50% then and feeding was nothing compared to now.

I'm feeding like twice as much with almost half the fish. Water changes only a 1/4 of what I'm doing now.

You think it was the f1 petros vs your WC ilangi.....is why the growth rate is different? Or you think that variant of petros just grows faster?

Too many variables.

You are trying to compare your singleton which is in a 4ft tank to others. It's hard to compare if you ask me.

Hey don't you clean tanks for a living? How much do you charge? I might be interested in paying you to clean my tanks.  EK has offer 5 bucks per tank to do water changes.

In my wildcaught colony of Trewavasae that I got in January, most of them have grown a ince, some of the smaller younger ones have grown more.

THe F1 Famula colony is now 18 months old, and most of them are 4.5 to 5.25 in size.  Couple outliners, on each end..but that's where I'd put them.  I think if they had their own tank, they would be larger by now.

Geoff,  are you still selling those Famula?  If so, I'm definitely interested.  I have a 210 that's empty and ready for a large colony.

I got my Trewavasae's the same time that Geoff got his. Mine have grown at a slightly slower rate (about 3/4" so far), but my tank is half the size

Not a petro but my eel ate a batch of ilangi fry and is about double its size in width.
