Helped Jeebus and Kiovo do a massive water change... Â EK has a lot of water left compared to what we did.... Â then we sexed his tropheus adults..
Filled the tank back up and reintroduced the adults to the tank. Â There was less than 2in of water left in the tank... we got it almost all out.. to make sure we properly got the maximum out in one maneuver..

I drain till they flap on their sides, refill partially and repeat. Also this is done twice a week. Â

Yeah I think I'm gonna make one soon too.... its just the refilling part that takes some time for me.
I like to fill the water slowly even when using th carbon bottle to give it the extra contact time and so the fish can adjust to the temp change.700g Mini-Monster tankComment

Yeah...Ek......you changed my whole water change regime back in the day . Once I saw these photos....I've never changed less than 80% since . I have never had a problem doing it that way and I use canisters only .:)Comment

I don't miss the water changes at all and unless you like flooded rooms I'll swing by anytime to lend a hand! LoL!
