yeah mj,thats the big 8-9 inch male.he looks way better now.when i got him his belly was really sunken in and he didnt do a whole lot,but now hes crazy as hell.he dont do a lot of damage but he chases everything.

im keeping them in a 110 6 footer.i know not the idea tank size,but thats what they are in.seem to be doing fine in there.i got some from valley aquatics and some from aquatic teknology.
no breeding going on yet,but only had them for a little over a month.





ek: they may have them,but i didnt get mine from there.i got these for really good prices.

yeah,you dont see them very often.or at least i dont.i think they get around the same size as famulas,not positive though.i just checked back to nature guide to tang cichlids and it was vey close to the size of the famula.this is the one you got,right?

i think i underestimated the aggression.lol.hadto take a small male out last night.the big guy didnt like him i guess.so now i have a big fm moshi,m kasumbe and fm kasumbe in with my mobas.to my surprise the mobas are the aggressor.so now i have 2m 5fm in the colony.ill introduce them back in when they heal some.im going to try and put the petro ikolas in monday,but im keeping a eye on them.

yeah,that might be a good idea,mj.im def. going to be doing a lot of experimenting,im new at these fish,but have plenty of time to keep a eye on them.id like to put the fm kasumbe back in to,but dont think she is ready.i may even try putting them all in with my mobas,with a very close eye.i know a guy that always kept his petros in with fronts,and he said the big fronts keep the peace.ill figure something out.

Never thought about that! Having a big a$$ front control the tank. I know a petro wouldn't want to mess with a 12" front with a big hump.

only thing is,i have mobas and if that big kasumbe gets a hair up his as*,he could do a lot of damage,and you know how much mobas cost.ill figure something out.
