  • Suggested lighting for tropheus

I have two two bulb light strips which are each 4' long.  I have sand and white boulders as a setup.  What are your suggestions on the bulbs to get a bright, clear look?  I don't want something that looks blue or red--something unnatural.  Thanks.

I prefer VHO lighting if you ask me and URI bulbs, actinic white and sun-something.

I think Ek is just referring to the bulb.

8000k is the whitest I have seen and the only people who offer it is ADA unless you want to go hunting. Also don't think they offer it in a fluorescent tube.

I will say that some of the best Trophs Ive seen in a long time where VHO blubs Actinic White.

For standard flourecent lighting I still think 9325K is the best for Trophs.
