Tropheus Flakes - Ken's Fish, what's your opinion?
I like the flakes from Ken's because they always come in huge sheets, so I'm not dumping a bunch of stuff in the tank that's just going to be sucked into the filter. Â Our trophs and petros eat Cichlid Excel pellets (soaked in tank water before served), Ken's Premium Veggie Flake, Ken's Tropheus Lover's Flake, and occasionally Ken's pure Spiralina, NLS, and Mysis shrimp as a treat.
We order from Ken's pretty often (of course we are set for the next couple months now), but I'll post next time we are going to order and maybe some of us can go in together and just split the shipping cost. Â Me and Jeebus and Kiovo did that last time and it works out nicely because we each bought 1 lbs of a certain flake and then traded some to each other. Â It allowed us to try different foods.

i thought the no carb looked pretty interesting to.a guy in georgia feeds his petros and trophs it,and said it really gets them in shape for breeding.im thinking of trying some.did the site say what size it is other than mini?i wouldnt mind trying it on some fry and see how well their growth is.im still a little leary of it though.that much protein for tropheus and or petro.
yeah i just checked and the smallest is .84-1.2.but has a few different types that go all the way up to 5 mm.what kind would you get ek and what fish would you use it for.i was thinking of getting the smallest for my tropheus and get the premium color for my petros.its size is 1.2-1.5 and has 56% protein
i d probably feed once a day and use my hbh flake 2wice a day.
