    Hi,

    I know all three are "sunspot" variant but how are they truly different?..is it collection points only?..

        It is, they are not different.
        Kalambo have red eyes only way to tell them apart.
        Katoto have purple in the dorsal.

          Kasakalawe is the true collection point on the lake. Mpulungu is the city they export them from.

                If you don't mind them eventually cross-breeding, sure. I would hope that you would inform future fry buyers of this mix, however.

                  No, I don't plan to mix them..I was wondering what the differences were...I, currently, have a colony of Mpulungu I got from Fskfrk and wanted to add more.

                    Katoto have a yellow sunspot and yellow eyes. Their Dorsal and Anal fins are a red wine color.

                    Kalambo have a yellow sundspot as well, but their eyes are red with white dots. Their dorsals are usually blue/green

                    Mpulungu do not really have a yellow sunspot, their yellow is more blotchy and smeared into the body. They have yellow eyes sometimes, and usually have white fleck spots on the head. Their Dorsals range in color alot red/ble/green

                    I would never mix these three with each other. They will hybridize.
