Can I use this for oxygen tank?

A friend gave me this CO2 bottle a while back. Wondering if i can use it as an Oxygen tank for shipping fish? If so, where do I go to buy oxygen? Thanks

not an expert by any means but if im not mistaken the fittings on tanks are specific for what they carry such as oxygen tank fittings will not fit onto an acetylene tank. Im pretty sure due to safety gas companies or local provider will not put a gas into a cylinder that's not labeled for that gas. Im not 100% sure on these

Easiest way to find out is call a company such as Air gas. They should be able to tell you if they can fill it

Yeah, I agree with Crush and Lindsey. If I am correct CO2 is an inert gas, so has a different fitting and rating for the tanks (also are sometimes color coded and stamped for contents) whereas Oxygen is a Flammable and combustable so would require a different tank. If you were going for Nitrogen, I think you could use it as its another inert once the tank was emptied.
