      • IMO if it isn't fertile you should be able to tell by tomorrow or the day after. That's how fast my eggs go bad when I strip them without eyes and tail

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you look for the eggs that have turned white and toss em.

                • If you see it getting a clear brown color those are going bad.

                  • The red line veins shown on the egg is probably on the good side probably a sign of life in the egg. I've never seen dots.

                      • You don't have to pull them. I never do I just turn up the pump(if on valve) then it just floats up to the top and doesn't come back down cause the top netting catches the bad egg.

                        • Yeah, it's on a valve.

                          • Yea. Just let the air pump "suck up" the bad eggs. Taking it in and out just to take out bad eggs is too much of a hassle and can cause damage to the good eggs in the process of removing the bad eggs. Then after the eggs hatch all you have to do is rinse the bad eggs off of the top mesh that caught it.

For one, I need to see the fertility rates of these eggs, and another reason is I don't want another aggression flare up to jeopardize these eggs again. I need to find out what works with this colony, and even the individual females, so until then I'm gonna try different things. In case you forgot, I have waited 5 and 10 days previously with two other females that resulted in zero eggs at time of stripping. Unlike those times, I now have eggs in a tumbler that I can watch develop. That works for me.
Congrats on the eggs Sunny, I agree that you have to change things up until you find what works. Good luck bro.
