I have been busy helping at my uncle's shop... been backed up at both the workplace and helping others lately.

The 6025 is a simple mod requiring no additional parts.
I have owned all of them or at least all of the initial 3.... 6025, 6045 and the 6055.

The 45 and 25 are identical after the mod and the 55 is only slightly stronger but not comparable when you factor in the cost since the 55 is a controllable pump and runs a true DC so it also can be ran on a battery backup easily.

But for the price of the 6055 you could get like 3 of the 6025 and the 3 would push much more flow and much more alternate flow.

Koralia is not worth it for me, I have burned out three motors out of 4 units purchased in the last 18 months.

I personally like the Algae Free Mods on the Maxjet 1200's those are a lot stronger and more reliable in my experience so far.

I like the Vortech's too, I want to try one now.

Also, are the Mtoto fry orange like other brichardi types at first spit or are they a different color, or are any of your guys that small yet?

I never liked the look of the MJ1200+Sureflow mod... bulky and the suction cups seem weak for that much flow. Tack on cost of the AlgaeFree magnet and you done paid more then what a Tunze would have cost.

There are some Mtoto that are small but not orange as my Ulwiles were... these are kinda the opposite in pattern and it looks cool! The face is dark along with the rest of them so it's like brown with yellowish stripes vs. the other Brichardis that are Orange with brown stripes.

The siblings nipped all it's fins so it could not fight much current, then the Vortech finished it off...... Natural Selection at it's Finest!
