I personally let them figure it out themselves.
IMHO, I dont think there is a right or wrong answer for this?
Overstock, understocked, too many males, remove and reintroduce, etc...
Too many variables and everyone that I know has had different results along with my own.
Hence why I let them figure it out and if they get whacked, well they weren't good enough to reproduce in the first place.
At least that is my opinion and what I do.
I do know you will get more frys soon from them whichever route you take Sunny.

Yup. The colony has been through a huge change so the upheaval was to be expected. I'm not too worried about it. They are settling down more and more each day so the fry train will start moving soon.
