I should be able to turn them around. Gonna do daily water changes for the next few days and add some Epsom salt to clean them out and try to stir up some type of appetite. No algae here. Can't grow any with all of these meds in here. Other tank had algae problems that I would love to have now but that bristle nose cleaned everything up.

Update: About 2/3 of the colony is eating. One fish is red cheek. Fish are getting more active and aggressive. Things are looking up.

Never lost any fish. Some died during transport from DARs but not on my watch.

Gone ape wild. It's a male and he's the meanest fish in the tank.

image.jpgQuick Update: I remodeled the tank. Painted it blue to get more color, changed substrate to crushed coral, and got brighter rocks. Yesterday my fish were in a cooler with a hob for over twelve hours. I did a water change on the cooler and treated them with parasite guard. I left home and closed the cooler on the filter which left about an inch of open space. One fish made that leap and when I got home it was dead, or so I thought. It was completely dried up and rock hard. Lifeless. I just threw it back in the cooler because I was mad. Hour later I came back to make sure all were ok. Well that fish was gasping on his side. Well today he's eating and swimming with the colony. Not 100% and I'm sure severe damage was probably done but we'll see.

My cooler treatment helped a lot. Now after putting them back in there's only a handful of fish that don't eat. I'm gonna start treating all of my fish in coolers on the meds that require so much for high volumes. This one really worked. Excuse the lighting. One if my strips isn't working because of ballast so I just put this one in the middle.

He's eating and swimming with the colony. Not 100% but he's living. His slime coat is bad and fins messed up but he's improving.
