So many of you know that I sold all of my stuff but I just moved into my new place yesterday. I moved the tank in two weeks prior. It's a 135 Oceanic oak finish. I got 22 of these from Alison at Cichlids and Herps. 8m/14f. I prepaid for these weeks ago after I decided I would get back in. These are the only survivors from her import of these fish. They came in good size. Beat up pretty bad fin and scale wise but I'm happy nonetheless. Don't see these very often. I picked them up from delta yesterday morning. Treatment starts today after a big water change. Here's a video.

These are mpimbwe. Just like red cheek instead these have yellow cheek. The canary cheek have the cheek more in the middle of the gills but these are closer to the bottom of the gills and more pronounced.210gPetrochromis Macrognatus Green 'Nsumbu

Treatment starts in a few minutes. After a week of meds and no foods rocks go in and better lighting. It'll progress nicely. Lots of shaking but there's not gonna be any breeding. It's all friendly territorial stuff. These fish are skinny and won't touch any food. I threw just a few flakes in to see the response and only two fish ate. I'll get em right in no time.210gPetrochromis Macrognatus Green 'Nsumbu

Update after five days: No eating. No pellets or flakes. Never took me this long to get fish to eating. Thinking in gonna have to hit em again in a couple more days. If these fish don't start eating I'm afraid some will die. They don't have enough fat stored up to survive weeks longer.210gPetrochromis Macrognatus Green 'Nsumbu
