For purigen I would suggest using their seachem bag. I'm not too sure on the size of the weave of eheim bag. rather be safe than sorry. hmmm, pantyhose.....ok Tim, not even going to ask.

panty hose queen size knee high .50 a piece at walgreens. you can cut them in 1/2 tie a knot in the end of 2 of them and get 4 media bags for .15 cents a piece.200
