The next TAKO meeting is scheduled for Sunday June 21st at 1:00 pm. The
meeting will be held at the home of Art Leuterman 742 Bison Drive in Houston
(281) 493-0363. Directions from Houston: I-10 West to Eldridge Pkwy exit.
Left (South) on Eldridge Pkwy to 1st light Memorial Dr. Right (West) on
Memorial to 1st left, Turkey Crk. to 1st left Bison.
The community center in Art's subdivision (Thornwood) is where we plan on
having this year's annual show. Look for the community center on Turkey
Crk. This is just a head's up for the show location this July, this month's
meeting is at Art's house, see directions above.
Meeting agenda:
-Confirm this year's annual show and plan remaining items. Dates set for
July 10 - 12th.
-Fish room tour.
-TAKO Exchange, fish auction, please bring an item(s) to auction off, and/or
a couple of bucks to bid with.
TAKO (Texas Area Killifish Organization) www.tako.daelarue.com is an
affiliate of the AKA (American Killifish Association) www.AKA.org. TAKO
meetings are held monthly.
TAKO and the DKA www.dallaskillifish.com hold an annual Killifish show and
auction. The next show is scheduled for July 10-12, 2009 in Houston.
There is no membership fee for TAKO, if you know about us, you are a member.
TAKO is financially supported through the show auction and the TAKO
Exchange.
