Anybody know if there will be some clown killies? I have a gravid female that is the only survivor of my group I had and the only ones I have found locally were at FishGallery and they were in about the same shape as the dead ones I threw away.
Look under Events on Fishbox for a posting. Just click on the Tako announcement and it will give you more info. There is also a link from the Calendar on the HAS site.
The show saturday is just killifish and there will be fish there you never see in the lfs's. A lot of the fish in the show will be in the auction sunday along with hardgoods, etc. The auction is open to everyone and there will be other fish there besides killis.
If all goes well I may be there in the morning for the auction. I will not be able to stay long as I have other commitments in the afternoon.

Went to the Pizza Party last night. They've pretty well setup the show fish. There will be speakers today as well. Check out the TAKO event listing for more info.
Well, I came home with more than I had planned, but isn't that the story with every auction? I did get a couple species that I have been wanting for years, however. So it was worth it!
Had a fun time, met some great people...Thanks TAKO!
Oh, and they had a couple groups, too! I think FishySue got a few (annulatus), maybe you can get more in a couple months from her. :)
Of course, I go to a Killifish auction and come out with Native pygmy sunfish. I got 2 pairs of Elassoma okefenokee and 1 pair of Elassoma evergladei. Also 2 pairs of Leptolucania ommata, which were sentimental to me - the guy who caught them was sitting right behind me. The auction sheet said they were from Tallahassee, FL, where I went to school. Turns out I knew the intersection where they were found! So I had to get them...at least I got 1 kind of killie!
Also got a bottle of freeze-dried blood worms in my Door Prize bag.
Sorry, didn't get any annulatus. I was definitely outbid on those. Did come home with quite a lot of fish flakes, an Eclipse six and about 3 pairs of killies. I wanted the Fundulus rubrifons and got them. Those were also from Ken Normandin. Very nice show and auction. Had a bottle of freeze-dried blood worms in my door prize, too.
